Artist's Comments:

I believe that the ability to paint is one of the many gifts which God gives to whomever He pleases even before a child is born. I also believe that I am one of those many.

Since childhood, drawing has been a passion to me. So much so that I always ended up getting scolded by my grade one teacher because all my books, textbooks and notebooks were filled with them. But she just didn't know...

But God is good. What He had started, He promised He will complete. I met my artist husband when I was in college and guess right, I learned the finer side of art specifically that of painting through him. Since then I know that I have to paint.

God's gifts are never meant to be wasted. There had been some interruptions in between when I gave birth to my children till they grow older or when my circumstances did not allow it but the desire to paint remained in me.

So I thank and honor God for that desire for it never ceases to amaze me whenever I complete a painting because I know that without the Giver's help I would not be able to practice His gift.
